Cavalor Derma Wash is a hygienic shampoo containing pre and probiotics, used to
wash horses that have flaky skin, dull coats or a skin condition. It’s the ideal
shampoo to wash new arrivals in the yard or to prepare your horse for clipping.


What makes Derma Wash unique?
1. Boost the immunity with bacteria

Cavalor Derma Wash contains a combination of pre and probiotics that actively
support the skin’s resistance and healthy microflora. Various strains of the
Bacillus species are added to the formula in spore form. This is a dormant form,
which is activated as soon as it comes into contact with your horse’s skin,
textiles, leather, etc. The prebiotics also specifically stimulate the
activation of these good bacteria so that they do not affect
pathogens and bacillus bacteria for keeping working longer. This results in
healthy microflora that protects the skin against external invaders


2. Caring hygienic shampoo without compromises
Unlike traditional disinfectant shampoos, the horse’s skin remains hydrated with
Cavalor Derma Wash. Cavalor Derma Wash is pH neutral en therefore totally made
for the equine skin. Products with a low pH, such as human shampoo, attract
moisture and dehydrate the horse’s skin, resulting in a dry, flaky skin.
Products with a high pH (like strong cleansers) absorb the natural tallow making
the coat dull and the skin dry, sensitive and susceptible to infections

3 So versatile
Bacteria are everywhere, both the good and the bad kinds. Even if you can’t see
them, organisms can spread anywhere. Infections often pass from one horse to
another via brushes, saddle cloths and sheets. Cavalor Derma Wash can be used to
wash horses, it can also be used to clean brushes, saddle cloths and leather.


DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Apply a small amount (± 30 ml) of Cavalor Derma Wash in a pail of lukewarm
water, and apply directly on the whole body or affected skin with a sponge. Let
it soak for a short while and carefully rinse with water afterwards.


To avoid skin problems, it can be a good idea to wash the horse with Cavalor
Derma wash monthly, or after intensive contact with other horses (camps or walks
for instance).


Cavalor Derma Wash can also be used to disinfect your tack or other equipment.
Use 30 ml of Cavalor Derma Wash in your washing machine instead of detergent to
clean textile.


For microflora imbalances of the skin (itching, tears to skin in the fetlock
area, wounds, skin problems, etc.), following up with Cavalor Derma Spray can be
useful. Use Cavalor Derma Spray to clean wounds or genitals.

clipping easier and more efficient. Cavalor Derma Wash has added glycerol to
