Duval Sand Away has been specially developed to remove sand from the horse's intestines.

The main active ingredient in Sand Away is psyllium seed. Psyllium has the ability to bind a lot of water and contains a high level of mucilage. This stimulates intestinal movements, allowing sand to be removed better. In addition to psyllium seeds, chia seeds, lithothamnium, lupine, anise and clay have also been added. All this is compressed into a tasty chunk. As a result, the psyllium seeds only come into effect after passing through the stomach, so that they exert the most optimal effect in the intestines and thus carry the sand from the intestines outside. This is a big advantage compared to loose psyllium seeds, which you have to feed more for the same result.

Dosage

Preventive treatment: 25 grams per 100 kg body weight
Maintenance treatment: 50 grams per 100 kg body weight
For sand complaints/sand colic treatment: 100 grams per 100 kg body weight (divided into 2 portions)

Feeding advice: 10 days.
1 measuring cup = approximately 250 grams
